HBCSD Corruption

The Motive:

Did school board members in league with the cabal hire Pat Escalante because she was desperate for a job and nearing retirement and had no problem lying for the cabal?  Was she hired to misinform the public to keep the school district out of the Community Center and out of North School until an overly expensive $59M bond to completely rebuild North School was passed?  Was the unnecessary rebuilding and expansion of North School as enrollment dropped the district’s quid pro quo for denying their leasing rights to the Community Center?  Did cabal members promise to promote and protect Pat Escalante if she lied for them? 

Pat Escalante was an older, single woman nearing retirement.  She had a less than stellar resume and had already been released by her previous employer, Beverly Hills Unified School District when HBCSD school board members hired her to be principal at Hermosa Valley School.

School board members and cabal members knew that Pat Escalante was not qualified to be superintendent.   It seems that school board members had already planned to make her superintendent when she was hired as principal for Valley School since they never performed a superintendent search before appointing Ms. Escalante to be superintendent less than a year after she was hired as principal.

Was the cabal’s previous superintendent position (prior to Pat Escalante HBCSD superintendent was 76 year old formally retired Dr. Bruce Newlin) a place holder until the cabal could find a candidate who had no problem putting their reputation on the line for a 53% increase in pay and a larger pension?

Dr. Bruce Newlin at 76 years old getting tired of waiting for cabal members to fill his position with their chosen candidate?   Were the cabal members under-the-gun to find a new superintendent who would be willing to mislead the community and keep the district out of the Community Center since Dr. Newlin wanted to retire (again)?

Did the cabal members find the perfect candidate who was willing to mislead the community and keep HBCSD from exercising their contractual rights to use classrooms, office and storage space at the Community Center?   Did Pat Escalante sell her soul to the Devil for a 53% increase in pay, a hefty pension, protection and promotion within the community?   Why didn't School board members perform a superintendent search to find a qualified candidate after Dr. Bruce Newlin announced his second retirement?  They had plenty of time to do so. 

After school board members hired Pat Escalante to be principal at Hermosa Valley School, the 76 year old Superintendent Dr. Newlin announced his (final) retirement from HBCSD.
